Religious Teacher in Indian Army

Recruitment of religious teachers (1) Rt Pandit, 2) RT Granthi and 3) Rt Maulvi in the Army as junior commissioned officers for RRT 64 course and 65 course

You need: Male candidates only. Between 27 and 34 years as on October 18, 2010 for RRT 64 and Jan 3, 2011 for RRT 65 course for civilian candidates and between 25 and 34 years as on the same date for re-mustered candidates. 1 Graduation in any discipline and qualified in Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standards for Pandits. Those who have passed BA with Sanskrit / Hindi as one of the elective subject but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan are also eligible. 2 Granthi graduate, also qualified as Vidwan in Punjabi/ equivalent of BA with Punjabi as an elective (main) subject 3 Graduation and also qualified as Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu or equivalent in the regional language concerned or those who have passed BA with Arabic / Urdu as one of the elective (main) subjects but have not done Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib in Arabic Alim Urdu. For candidates applying for remustering the minimum qualification will be 10+2. Candidates should belong to the culture of the appropriate religious denomination and acceptable to the troops. Written exam for screened candidates on June 27, 2010
