Fellowship programme-Delhi University

A new fellowship has been instituted by Delhi University — the Vice-Chancellor’s Fellowship Programme.

All permanent academic employees of the University of Delhi and its colleges, who are below the age of 45 (as on December 31, 2013) can apply for 10 positions under the Vice-Chancellor’s Fellowship Programme. These positions are for the duration of a full calendar year beginning January 1, 2014.

A Vice-Chancellor’s Fellow will be required to have the ability to think boldly, out-ofthe-box and contribute in original and significant ways on broad areas and themes/programmes of the university’s major activities in the coming months. This includes developing meaningful ideas, ways and means of providing instruction in the Foundation and Application Courses under the new undergraduate programme through technology-based platforms or through production of reading/learning material in collaboration with leading international institutions, etc.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Fellow shall be treated as being on duty and will draw — in addition to regular salary and allowances — a special ‘Deputation Allowance.’ The fellow shall be required to be available for travel for purposes of training and collaboration.

Deadline: December 15.
