Availability of Prospectus: Prospectus-cum-Application Form for admission to Diploma in Education D.Ed/ D.Ed. (Urdu) Course for the residents of Haryana only will be available in the office of the Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Haryana, Gurgaon and all the District Institute of Education & Training (DIETs) in the concerned districts and in the districts having no DIETs ( Jhajjar, Palwal, Fatehabad and Mewat) the prospectus will be available in the office of the District Education Officer concerned from 16-06-2011 during office hours on cash payment of Rs 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) for General Category candidates and Rs. 75/-(Rupees Seventy Five Only) for SC & BC. Candidates are advised to apply on the application form meant for their own category.

How to Apply: Application form, complete in all respects, should reach the office of Director, S.C.E.R.T. Haryana, Gurgaon by 30-06-2011 upto 5.00 p.m. Application form after the scheduled date and time will not be received under any circumstances.

Admission Procedure: Admission to Diploma in education D.Ed / D.Ed. Urdu Admission 2011 in Haryana will be made on the basis of the Merit List which will purely be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 examination streamwise (Arts, Science, Commerce & Vocational).

Please read the instructions carefully

1. Take a printout of prospectus session 2011-13 available at website i.e. www.scertdelhi.info in respect of Govt. DIETs, ETE & ECCE Recognized Private Institute and read all the chapters, instructions etc. carefully.
2. Prepare Demand Draft of Rs.300/- for each application in favour of Director, SCERT payable at New Delhi. Fill in the details of Demand Draft in the online application form. You are advised to keep a photo copy of the Demand Draft with you for reference.
3. Click Online registration
   1. • Fill all the columns of application form carefully
   1. • Recheck the filled-up application form
   1. • Submit the application form after checking
   1. • Take a print-out of final form generated online after submission.
4. Once you complete your online application form and submit the same, send a copy only through Registered Post/Speed post/ Courier to Controller of Exams., SCERT. Before posting please assess that you have:
   1. • Signed in the box provided for the purpose.
   1. • Pasted your latest passport size photograph in the box provided for the purpose.
   1. • Enclosed the original demand draft of Rs.300/- for each application form with full name, address, telephone number and application number on the back side of demand draft.
5. Once this form is received in the Council with all above mentioned necessary enclosures, the online database will be updated and the candidate will be able to see the status of his/her application on website www.scertdelhi.info on 18.06.2011.

1. Two year Diploma Course in Elementary Teacher Education (ETE)
2. Two year Diploma Course in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)

Nine Govt. DIETs and 21 Private Recognized Institutes offer ETE course and 30 Private Recognized Institutes offer ECCE course (only for female candidates).  Candidates are required to fill separate application form, each for DIET, ETE Private Recognized Institute and ECCE Private Recognized Institute.

Admission to ETE/ECCE course for all the Institutes shall be made purely on the basis of :

1. Merit in Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2)
2. Age should not be more than 24 year as on 30.09.2011.
3. You need minimum 50% marks to apply for the admission in ETE/ECCE.

Candidates are advised to procure all necessary Certificates/Documents such as Category Certificate, Domicile Certificate and qualification certificates etc. well in advance so that they can produce them at the time of admission.

Availability of Prospectus-cum-application forms  :

The complete details regarding name of institutions and availability of seats alongwith details of reservation of seats and relaxation thereof in ETE and ECCE course for various categories have been given in the prospectus 2011-13 which can be  obtained by hand only from any of the venues mentioned on our website on cash payment of Rs.300/- for each application from 23.05.2011 to 06.06.2011 between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days  (except Sunday and Gazetted holidays).

Kindly note that :

1. The application forms can only be submitted at any of the  09 Govt. DIETs.
2. Last date to receive filled application form is 06.06.2011 between 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
3. No application form will be sent and received by post/courier.
4. From this year facility of ONLINE submission of application form is also provided to the candidates.

In addition to above prospectus-cum-application form are also available at the following Private Recognized Institutes only for sale and filled up forms are to be submitted at 09 Govt. DIETs as detailed above.

The counseling for admission to ETE course in Recognized Private Institute will be held at District Institute of Education & Training, Moti Bagh, Old Moti Lal Nehru College Building, Nanak Pura, New Delhi-110021.

Few vacancies are available in some categories.  It is also mentioned that one more Institute has also been affiliated with SCERT from this Session i.e. Hari Dass College of Higher Education, Bani  Camp (Opp.Air Force Station), Post Najafgarh, New Delhi-43.

Candidates have been called for counseling in multiplication of approx. three of the vacant seats and admission will be made purely on merit basis subject to availability of seats.    Appearing the name of a candidate in the wait list cannot confer his/her right of admission for the ETE course in Recognized Pvt. Institutes.

Keeping in view the few number of vacant seats, counseling has been scheduled on the following dates only

09-08-2010   SC, ST, PH, NCC, SMW, WDST => Registration 10.00 am to 12.00 noon Delhi Domicile

10-08-2010  OBC(Delhi) & All India Domicile => Registration 10.00 am to 12.00 noon

11-08-2010   Gen Category of Delhi Domicile => Registration 10.00 am to 12.00 noon

The candidates must report for registration at 10.00 am sharp at DIET Moti Bagh according to their category mentioned above, alongwith all original certificates, documents, two photographs and fee as mentioned in the ETE Recognized Private Institutes prospectus Session 2010-12.   Candidates are also advised to produce Domicile Certificate in original or acknowledgement for apply of the same from the concerned authorities.  Candidates must adhere to the schedule, failing which their claim of admission will not be considered.

This is the last and final opportunity being given for admission for ETE in Recognized Private Institutes and No further inquiry/ representation in this regard will be entertained after 11.08.2010.

Admission will be taken on Merit basis. Student must pass class 12 examination. Kindly refer to the prospectus for minimum percentage required. Total 85% seats are reserved for the students of Delhi. Reservation of seats for SC/ST seats as per government rules. There are many other reservation quotas such as EFA Certificate holders, Wards of teachers, sports etc have some reservations. Questpaedia: A collection of ‘Teaching Learning Material’

SCERT is launching a link by the name of Quaentpaedia in its new website. Questpaedia will contain teaching – learning material to enhance learning for both teachers and students across the subject spectrum at all levels of schooling. This link will also have a separate section for the material developed by students.

The material will be curriculum based and will help in content enrichment. The material can be both interactive as well as non – interactive multimedia (preferably in power point). The material should clearly mention the target audience, i.e. the class, subject and topic for with it is intended.

SCERT invites experts, teacher educators, teachers, professionals, students and general public to contribute relevant material for placing on SCERT’s proposed link – QUESTPAEDIA. The material should be original contribution and should be sent to SCERT as soft copy with a hard copy.

The material will be examined by a committee of experts and if found suitable will be validated and edited by SCERT in consultation with the contributor. SCERT’s decision will be final and binding on the contributors.

A nominal payment will be made to the contributors of the material uploaded and authorship will be acknowledged on the SCERT website. The material shall become the property of SCERT and its copyright shall rest with SCERT.
