SCERT Delhi is going to start admission process for ETE (Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education) widely known as Delhi DIET JBT in second week of June 2013. The expected date of issuing online/offline application form is June 10, 2013.
We will let you know if SCERT launched any new website this year for admission in ETE.
It is really surprising that an government organisation with more than 20 government and around 50 private institute, does not have a properly maintained website. If you search for SCERT Delhi, it leads to a worst designed Delhi government webpage having no relevant information and not updated for last 3 years. Other link scert.nic.in goes to one webpage which is not being monitored now. The so called reputed institution releases a new website domain name every year and it expires next year. It is really a big BLACK spot on the face of DELHI GOVERNMENT and SCERT if they can not manage a 2-3 page website for their organisation in the era of information technology. We are really unable to understand IS IT BHARAT NIRMAN ! How you can expect the Teachers to be well equipped with information technology when their producers (SCERT) have such attitude about use of information technology in their so called esteemed organisation. It seems that the DIRECTOR at SCERT don’t want to disclosed anything about the institution or there is something that must be kept hidden.
Please let us know your views about the way SCERT, Delhi working now a days. They really need some research and training on using latest trends in the field of education. Providing information through web portals is FIRST OF THEM.
In our opinion, SCERT should :-
1. Develop a webportal for teachers and would be teacher in Delhi.
2. Must make their researches and training outcomes online.
3. They should provide guidelines on how to make teaching joyful. While making learning joyful, they have made teaching painful.
4. They should release online version of MLL modules (Minimum Level of Learning) for class 1 to class 8.
5. They should provide online teaching resources such as lesson plans, unit plans etc.
