The admission is open for class XI in all RPVVs (subject to availability of seats in the concerned RPVV) listed above and the information about availability of seats in different streams may be collected from the respective RPVV only.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Registration shall be made in only RPVV where the applicant is interested in Admission in Class – XI and Registration form will be purchased only from that RPVV. No request for change of school / change of medium change of stream will be entertained at any stage.

Copy of certificate and marks/Grads sheet of class – IX passed in 2009 AND X passed in the year 2010 respectively, duly attested by the Principal/Head of the school last attended should be submitted at the time of registration.

The applicants are also advised to check their eligibility for registration before buying the Registration form. The Directorate of Education / RPVV will not be responsible for any kind of in-eligibility of the applicant at any stage and the applicant cannot claim for Admission in case in – eligibility is detected at any stage.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ADMISSION

(For Class – XI)

Student who have passed class – IX in the year 2009 and class – X in the year 2010 from Delhi Government/Government Aided/NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board Schools are eligible for registration for seeking admission in class – XI in RPVVs.

STREAM – WISE ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION

Registration will be opened for external candidates by individual RPVVs only if there are seats available after admitting all the eligible candidates of their own school strictly as per the Merit List.

A. ELIGIBILITY FOR SCIENCE STREAM

Minimum Grades required for registration:

MERIT CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

Eligible students with higher grades in Mathematics, Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit thus formed. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics, Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.

B. ELIGIBILITY FOR COMMERCE STREAM

Minimum Grades required for registration:

MERIT CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

Eligible students with higher grades in Mathematics, Social Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit thus formed. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics, Social Science And English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.

C. ELIGIBILITY FOR HUMANITIES STREAM

Minimum Grades required for registration:

C1 Grade (51 – 60%) in each of the five subjects excluding additional subject.

D. ELIGIBILITY FOR VOCATIONAL STREAM

(Information Technology Application)

Minimum Grades required for registration:

C1 Grade (51 – 60%) in each of the five subjects excluding additional subject.

MERIT CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

FOR HUMANITIES AND VOCATIONAL STREAM:

Merit list for Admission in Humanities and Vocational Stream will be prepared on the basis of Merit of CGPA of the candidates registered.

FOR ALL STREAMS (SCIENCE, COMMERCE, HUMANITIES, VOCATIONAL)

In case of candidates getting same rank in the priority category of Merit List, the selection will be done on the basis of CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of such candidates i.e. candidates with higher CGPA in the same priority of Merit will get higher position. Draw will be arranged as the last resort, in case the CGPA of the candidates in the same priority is same against lesser number of seats.

COST OF REGISTRATION FORM : Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten Only)

SCHEDULE FOR REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION SALE AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS WITH NECESSARY DOCUMENTS:

07.06.2010 (M0nday) to 11.62010 (Friday) between 9.00AM to 11.00AM.

(ON LAST DAY i.e. 11.06.2010 (Friday) SUBMISSION OF FORMS UP TO 1.00PM).

DISPLAY OF MERIT LIST OF ALL EXTERNAL CANDIDATES TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE DRAW OF LOTS (IF REQUIRED):

10.06.2010 (Wednesday) at 10.00 AM. at respective RPVV. The draw (if required) will be held in the presence of the one officer from respective District, Head of concerned RPVV and parents of Registered Students and at that time all such parents/students will be required to bring the counter-foil of their Registration Form for verification.

Display of final list on 17.06.2010 (Thursday) ar 10.00 AM at respective RPVV.

PROCESS OF ADMISSION AND CHECKING OF ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES/AND OTHER SUCH DOCUMENTS/PAPERS:

18.06.2010(Friday) 8.00 AM to 12.30 PM
