New courses started by NOU from the current new academic session(2011-2012) are quite populer and drawing too much rush of admission seekers. Now admission of different-different course is still runing in Nalanda Open University.Following courses are started by NOU 1. Bachelor of business Administration (BBA), BA in education, and BA in mass communication, NOU also start few certificate cources lin (neteworking administration ) and some computer courses .The six-month-long certificate course in Networking Administration consisting of two separate capsules namely Discovery and Exploration has been launched in collaboration with a multinational software company, Cisco. This practical training-based course is likely to fetch lucrative jobs to the passouts, said Sinha.

The newly-introduced BA in Education course is also attracting a large number of students. NOU is negotiating with the state government for granting parity to this course with the BEd course, Sinha added.
NITP students submit memo: A delegation of NIT Patna students met governor-cum-chancellor Devanand Konwar at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday and submitted to him a memorandum demanding change in the examination regulations of the institution in the larger interest of students.

The delegation, led by Mukeh Kumar Singh, pointed out that as many as 35 students of NIT Patna had been expelled due to defective regulations. No such regulations exist in any other technical institution of the country, including IITs and other NITs. It urged the governor to direct the NIT administration to reconsider its decision to debar a sizeable number of students from studying in NIT.
