Special Recruitment Drive for the Persons with Disabilities

Applications on the prescribed forms are invited to recruit the Persons with Disabilities on the following posts, so as to reach the Asstt. Registrar (Establishment Branch-I), Registrar’s Office, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi-110025, latest by 26.02.2010.

Two Readers (Pay Scale Rs. 15,600039,100 with GP Rs. 8,000/-)

1. One Reader in Mathematics (Non-Plan), Department of Mathematics.
2. One Reader in Educational Admn. (X Plan – SG), Department of Educational Studies.

Three Lecturers (Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100 with GP Rs. 6,000/-)

1. One Lecture in Architecture (X Plan-SG), Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics
2. One Lecturer in the D/o Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge (X Plan-SG), F/o Dentistry.
3. One Lecturer in Physics (Non-Plan), Department of Biosciences.

Note:
1. Selection against above vacancy shall not confer on the appointee any right of permanent appointment/regularization.

2. (a) Jamia reserves right to evolve a uniform and reasonable criterion for short-listing of eligible candidates, if needed.
(b) Jamia also reserves right to give preference to those who possess higher qualifications.

3. Candidate must encase the attested copies of degrees, diplomas and mark-sheets etc. giving reference of experience/published work with application from.

4. Incomplete application OR found deficient in any manner OR application on plain paper will not be entertained and is liable to rejected. The University will not be responsible for any postal in case of receipt of application forms and issue of interview letters.

5. Reservation exists in the University as in accordance with law.

6 Relaxation, if any shall be as per the UGC guidelines and other regulatory bodies.

7. Candidate already in service must apply through proper channel.

8. The University reserves the right to hold/not to hold Selection Committee for any or all of the Post (s).

10. Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi are desirable.
