IIT Hyderabad invites applications for the following post:
Post : REGISTRAR : 1 Post
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with Gp Rs. 10,00/-

Minimum Qualification and Experience: (1) A Masters degree with least 55% marks of its equivalent grade. (2) At least 15 years of experience as Lecture / Assistant Professor/Reader, of which 8 years should be in the Assistant Professor’s Grade Rs.12,000-18,300 (pre-revised) with experience in Educational Administration OR Comparable experience in research establishments and other Institutions of higher education Or 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar Rs. 12,000-18,300 scale (pre-revised) or an equivalent post. Desirable: Considerable experience in educational administration, financial and presidential management, capacity to lead administration in a residential Institution and R&D Institution.

General Information:
1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Reservation for must ST/Sc/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman as per Central govt. rules.
3. Persons employed in Government / Semi Government Organizations / Autonomous Bodies should submit their applications through proper channel.
4. Degree as referred above should have been awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
5. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the Institute in all matte will be final. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection / interview. Canvassing in any manner would entail disqualification of the candidature.
6. Experience prescribed may be relaxed in the cases of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
7. The Institute reserves the right to only the requisite number of candidates for interview after shirt-listing with reference to the candidate’s qualification, suitability, experience, etc.
8. Incomplete applications or applications without attested copies of certificates received after the last date are liable to be rejected.
