HINDU COLLEGE Invites Applications for the post of Principal
Applications are invited for the post of Principal, Hindu College, University of Delhi, Delhi in the scale of pay of Rs16400-22400 (pre revised) with usual allowances admissible as per University Grants Commission University of Delhi norms.
Qualification:
i)A Master’s degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the seven point scale with letter grade O,A,B,C,D,E &F
ii)Ph.D or equivalent degree
iii) Total experience of fifteen years of teachings and/or post-doctoral research in Universities/Colleges and others institution of higher education.
Note: The minimum requirement of 55% shall not be insisted upon for the post of Principal for existing teachers, who are already in the University system. But in no case would this be less than 50% . However, these marks should be insisted upon for those entering the system from outside.
General Note:
Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level of the SC/ST/PH category.
The prescribe Application Forms are obtained from the office of the Principal, Hindu College, Delhi University, Delhi-110007.
The application form duly completed in all respects along with self attested copies of all certificates and testimonials should reach of the office of the Principal, Hindu College, Delhi – 110007 (through proper channel, in case already in service) by Regd Post/Courier/ Hand by 10th April, 2009. It should be sent in a sealed envelope super scribed “Application for the post of Principal, Hindu College, Delhi-110007.”

I have read your advertisement for the post of Principal just today. Can I still apply? I was a student of Delhi University, passed out in 1996, served in Mussoorie for more than 12 years, now working as Principal at J R S College, Jamalpur (Bihar).
