Full Time Degree and Diploma Programmes in Engineering through IGNOU

School of Engineering and Technology, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), announces admission to full time Degree and Diploma Programmes in Engineering stating from January, 2010 session.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in collaboration with Sri Angala Parameshwari Educational Trust (SAPET) invites application from eligible candidates for admission to the following full time degree and diploma programmes in engineering for fresh candidates and working professionals with flexible timings.

1. Civil Engineering (CE)
2. Mechanical Engineering (ME)
3. Electrical Engineering (EE)
4. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
5. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

The above programmes are being offered at various IGNOU-SAPET centres for Engineering Studies throughout India. Applications will be made available from August 05, 2009 and last date for submission of application form is August 24, 2009. The IGNEAT 2009 Aptitude Test (online mode) will be held during September 06-13, 2009. The result will be announced on September 21, 2009.

Admission to the IGNOU-SAPET Engineering programmes is offered through an aptitude test IGNOU Engineering Aptitude Test (INGEAT-2009). It will be conducted in English, Hindi and few regional languages.

Student Handbook and Prospectus for IGNOU-SAPET Engineering Programme 2009 can be obtained from School of Engineering and Technology, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi and various IGNEAT 2009 Test Centres by paying Rs.500/- in cash at the respective sate counters or by sending a sum of Rs. 550/- through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Indira Gandhi National Open University payable at New Delhi.
