Admission to Ph. D. programmes at NSIT

Netaji Shubhas Institute of technology is an established autonomous Institute of government of NCT Delhi with well-equipped modern laboratories, well laid down profile of growth and a strong commitment for achieving excellence in technical education and research.

Applications are invited for teaching cum research scholarship (TRF) at Rs 15,000 per month in the following divisions.
Division of electronics and communication engineering
Division of computer engineering and information technology
Division of instrumentation and control engineering
Division of manufacturing processes and automation engineering
Division of school of applied sciences

Eligibility conditions
Master’s Degree in engineering/technology/science or equivalent in relevant area with consistently good academic record.  Securing 70% or more marks in aggregate.  Candidates selected for admission to the Ph.D. program will have to subsequently apply to the University of Delhi for Ph.D. registration as per the rules of University of Delhi.

Candidate applied for Ph.D. program must ensure that their final results are declared before the date of interview in June 2009 otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for interview and admission.
Successful candidates, on completion of Ph.D. under the scheme, stand good chance of being considered as the faculty in this Institute through proper selection committee.

The applicant if found suitable for research but not suitable for TRF position, can be considered for admission to Ph.D. degree programme as research fellow with stipend/Fellowship as per rule.

Application form with full details are available on the Institute web site at www.nsit.ac.in . The complete application form along with the attested photocopies of certificates/testimonials to self addressed envelopes size 25 x 11 cm for communication to address slips and a demand draft/pay order of Rs 500 in favour of Director, NSIT, New Delhi payable at Andhra bank, NSIT Branch, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078, should reach to office of assistant registrar latest by 20.04.2009 up to 5 p.m. please write to name, address and telephone number at the back of the demand draft or pay order.  Separate application form should be submitted for each program or division.  For any queries contract at phone number extension 2323, 2314 through the number 250 99050.

Incomplete application will not be considered and treated as cancelled. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.
