Admission to MBBS and BDS Courses

Applications are invited form eligible Candidates for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses at SRI RAMADHANDRA MEDICAL COLLEGE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE and SRI RAMACHANDRA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL for the academic year 2009-10.

Eligibility for M.B.B.S. and B.D.S is H.S.C. (+2) or equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Botany & Zoology with marks as prescribed by the respective statutory Councils.

Selection will be made on merit, based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University on All India basis. Course will be allotted through counseling.

Prospectus and Application Form for Entrance Examination may be obtained either by downloading from the website www.srmc.edu or from the Registrar on requisition with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1,100/—(Rupees one thousand one hundred only) drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai 116” or in person by paying Rs. 1,000/-(Rupees one thousand only) at the University Office.

Application forms will be issued from 23,03.2009 (Monday). The last date for issue of Application forms is 24.04.2009 (Friday). Last date for receipt of filled in Application forms is 06.05.2009 (Wednesday). All India Level Common Entrance Examination will be held on 24.05.2009(Sunday) from 10.00. a.m. to 1.00. p.m in Examination Centres at BANGALORE, CHENNAI, DELHI, KOLKATA & PUNE.

2. Candidates appearing for H.S.C. (+2) Examination in March/ April 2009 can appear for the Entrance Examination.
